In the middle of the Dualtron lineup, the high-performance models are neither too heavy nor too slow, reaching speeds of over 40 MPH. The top speed will determine the size of your motor, batteries, deck. The higher the top speed is, the heavier the scooter, and the longer the range your scooter will have.

Battery Range
Battery range will determine the weight and size of your scooter’s deck. The battery pack is the heart of an electric scooter and will also determine top speed! The higher the voltage and higher amp hours, the more watt-hours a battery will have.

Lower Budget
For example, if your desired top speed is 25 MPH, 30-mile range, 50 lbs weight, and a 48V drivetrain, the Speedway Leger or Dualtron Mini would be your top choices. The Mini is stronger but pricier, the Leger has very close specs but an older generation chassis design.
Higher Budget
If you’re desired top speed is +50 MPH, 75-mile range, 80 lbs weight, and 60V drivetrain, the Ultra V2 would be a perfect choice for more advanced features (but heavier in weight); consider the Dualtron Thunder.

Dualtron scooters rarely go on sale, the only time you can expect a discount is if the prices change globally, or during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. During Black Friday of last year, most of the 60V models were 20-30% off.
The best time to buy a scooter would be during the holidays, but that would mean you would lose out on the summer riding season. I would recommend waiting it out if you really want a good deal but would rather pay the full price to enjoy my Dualtron as soon as possible!
