Personal Electric Vehicles

Personal electric vehicles, also called “electric rideable,” “PEVs,” “personal light electric vehicles,” and “personal mobility devices,” are small, motorized micro-mobility vehicles that can carry one person at speeds of 10 to 25 mph. They include Segways, electric skateboards, kick scooters, and unicycles. A BLDC motor, a lithium battery, and an electric speed controller are used to power many of the devices. PEVs are becoming popular all over the world and are a great way to get around besides driving a car or taking public transportation.
