HOW TO COMPARE ELECTRIC BIKE VS REGULAR BIKE
Electric bikes vs. regular bikes can be a tough decision to make. The most important thing to consider is what you will do on the bike. If you are looking for an easy, carefree ride around town, an electric bike may not be a good choice. But if you want to take things up a notch and give yourself more freedom, then an electric bike might be your best option.
An electric bike is more than a regular bike with an electric engine. The two are similar in many ways but are also very different in some aspects. If you decide that an electric bike is right for you, there are some things to consider before you buy one.
Comparing Electric Bikes and Regular Bikes
1. Riding range
The range is the distance that can be covered before the battery needs to be recharged. It is essential to consider range because most e-bikes are designed for short-distance use. That means if you go on a long ride, the battery will run out before you get home, or you will have to recharge it again. The average range of a modern electric bike is between 40 and 70 miles (64 and 113 km). This depends on what kind of battery you have and how well it works.
