Inmotion’s First dual-motor electric scooter
A new dual motor standard for $1,000 scooters
Inmotion has been on a roll this year, releasing a slew of new electric scooters and unicycles. They are one of the hottest personal electric vehicle builders on the market, with the community ecstatic about their latest inventions and product releases.
Inmotion Climber Electric Scooter
Plenty of power for its $968 price
They recently released their new 48-volt Climber electric scooter, a dual-motor offering that will fit the beginner budget category of electric scooters. This 46-pound scooter has a top speed of 23 miles per hour, a battery pack capacity of 533 watt-hours, a range of 27 miles, and can carry riders weighing up to 285 pounds. The scooter will go up against the makers of GOTRAX, NIU, Segway, and many other low-cost commuter scooters.
Having tested several Inmotion products, I’m excited to see what they’ve come up with this time; they consistently produce high-quality gizmos. Let’s look at Climber’s specifications and features, which include some of the best technology mobile connectivity we can expect in Inmotion products.
Dual Motor Power
Two motors are better than one!
The Climber is the first INMOTION electric scooter equipped with dual motors. It boasts dual 750W motors, producing an astounding total nominal power of up to 1500 watts, making it easily take on 36% of slopes, inclines, and terrain.
- 750w*2
- 36% slopes
Embrace the Ultra Fast Speed
Dual motor torque and 23 mph speeds will get you to work fast!
Climber reaches an impressive speed of up to 38km/h. Also, it can deliver fast acceleration from 0 to 25km/h topping out at 3.5 seconds.
This was my first purchase from eWheels and boy am I impressed… NOT only did I get a fantastic scooter, but also 1000/10 service from Jason. The scooter is superb! It eats Seattle’s hills and sh!Tty roads for breakfast… No regrets. I have a Mantis King GT and a Dualtron Thunder, and I was looking for something to commute to and from work with and to get less dirty looks on bike paths (I also got my Segway max stolen from me on my university campus, had to fill the void somehow). My absolute favorite part of the scooter would have to be the trigger-style bell that is SO much satisfying to ring when passing cyclists. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. If you’re on the fence of getting one, JUST DO IT! You will not be disappointed.

Smart, Safe, and Sound
Safety is always first!
Climber features an innovative Battery Management System(BMS) to constantly monitor the status of each battery cell and improve the available capacity of a battery pack. Also, it is built with a battery balancer in a battery pack to perform battery balancing, which can significantly increase each cell’s longevity and charging safety.
Maintenance Has Never Been Easier
Painless tire changes!
Thanks to the modular design and split-rim technology, tire changing can be done as quickly as 1-2-3. Enjoy the pleasant maintenance experience in your garage within 10 minutes.
Powerful Brakes
Stopping is the key to safety
Equipped with a powerful braking system with an electric brake on both tires and a disc brake on the rear tire, Climber provides more precise control during braking events, and the reaction time can be within 0.01 seconds.
Extra Comfort
Easy riding with the Climber
Climber applies the 10-inch low-rolling resistance tires with extra-thick inner tubes to help reduce the puncture chance and deliver improved grip comfort and durability. Just ride easily over city terrain and enjoy a smooth ride, even at speed from start to finish.
Easily Handle Heavy Riders
Big guy-friendly scooter
With aircraft-grade aluminum, Climber is exceptionally sturdy and durable, providing a maximum load capacity of 140kg, which is generally enough to carry extra heavy riders.

After using the Climber for a week, my first impressions are really good! The unboxing experience was great and felt a lot like the Ninebot or Niu scooters I have owned. Everything was packaged really well and much better than most scooters I have purchased, including Dualtrons. The build quality feels very high on initial impressions and again, a lot like the Ninebot Max and the Niu Max I’ve owned. It is very quite in operation which I love and you can immediately feel the power of the dual motors which is a huge step up from the aforementioned scooters. I weigh 205 lbs and it got me up to just under 24 mph which is perfect because I don’t ride with any safety gear on. Due to the dual motors it didn’t have any problem getting me up even steep hills here in San Diego which is something a lot of single motor scooters cannot achieve. I really feel like for the price, performance, build quality, and the portable of this scooter, it is close to perfect! Super happy I took a chance at ordering this before I read or saw any reviews.
