The long-awaited Eovan new skateboard GTO Silo is finally here! Unlike the previous generations of Eovan GTS, the Eovan GTS Silo has been optimized, upgraded, and is ready for high-speed action. The appearance retains the stylish design of the previous Eovan skateboards, with the internal performance wholly overhauled!

The new advanced drivetrain configuration will provide a more exciting and radical riding experience, ideal for any seasoned performance skater looking to elevate their riding experience. Ready to send it?

Sports car inspired

Each of EOVAN’s products has improved in performance and speed due to EOVAN founder Peter’s passion for muscle cars. EOVAN released the upgraded GTS Carbon Pro version in 2020, which sold out in three days! In 2021, EOVAN released the GTS Carbon Super to worldwide acclaim.

In 2022, Peter put his new design concepts into action, spending significant time and energy to re-launch an unprecedented performance board. Peter’s new design improves the new skateboard’s speed, endurance, strength, and transmission efficiency. The goal is to improve the riding experience and make the electric skateboard perform more like a muscle car.

Many EOVAN riders insisted on waiting several months for prototyping and testing completion. As a result, our new product, the GTO Silo, will be pre-sold while the first batch is in manufacturing. EOVAN is now accepting preorders, allowing riders to reserve their spot in line and save off the retail price.

Highlights of the Eovan GTO Silo

Battery Pack Upgrade

This time, we created a battery with a slower discharge rate so that the skateboard would have a more stable amount of power. The battery pack’s overall capacity and discharge capacity has been significantly increased. After numerous tests, we decided to use the Molicel P42 battery, which has a more robust discharge performance and can maintain a stable power output even in low battery and low-temperature environments.

For capacity, we use a combination of 12S5P batteries with a total capacity of 21AH, which provides longer-distance battery life for skateboards.

Sexy Board Design

We used carbon fiber and colors from the EOVAN product family to make it look good. We redesigned the width of the bottom plate and the foot socket in terms of structure to be more stable at high speeds and acceleration, which is wider than the previous generation SUPER.

The 20CR MOTI foot socket is more appropriate, providing comfort while maintaining reasonable locking foot control, allowing Eovan riders to control high-speed riding more efficiently. At the same time, we continue to use non-slip grip tape that absorbs shock to make riders feel more comfortable.

Upgraded Transmission

This time, we added a gear transmission system to improve the skateboard’s efficiency. Our gears are made of 20CR MOTI material that has been hardened by carburizing and quenching.

The transmission efficiency is significantly increased after the transmission system exceeds the 100-kilometer running-in period, and the gear transmission with the same reduction ratio will increase the efficiency of the belt transmission by more than 25%, according to our repeated tests.

Intelligent ESC control system

Our Eovan ESC uses a custom Hobbywing ESC with more intelligent control, good acceleration linearity, smooth but powerful braking control, and regenerative charging. Control via remote To make riding more linear, we use a linear remote control.

Motor

We continue to use the reliable 6374 motor at 170KV, with a maximum power of 3500W from a single motor.

Wheels

According to previous Eovan customers’ purchase data and preferences, our AT wheels use 155-gear inflatable wheels, and the hubs use the previous CNC hubs and color matching. GT Wheels, the industry’s first brand to use airless rubber wheels, continues to use thick rubber wheels (RS125).

Of course, we also offer other wheel sizes and accessories that can be used to provide more comprehensive services to skateboard enthusiasts in general.

Double deck bridge

This time, we use the brand new EOVAN second-generation Double Kingpin Trucks (double-layer bridge), which is more stable, rigid, and shock-resistant than the first-generation double-layer bridge. Simultaneously, we designed a single-layer base, and users can freely switch between single-layer and double-layer bridges based on their sliding habits.

About EOVAN BOARD

Mr. Peter, who founded our company, was a fantastic architect and a massive fan of powerful muscle cars. He first encountered electric skateboards in 2014 and became instantly addicted to them. He built the best electric skateboard possible to meet his performance requirements. He began paying engineers to assist in the design and customization of critical components for his boards.

During this process, Peter also discovered that high-performance products are expensive. He decided to sell his two favorite supercars to finance his new project to improve the cost-effectiveness of products and make it easier for enthusiasts to enjoy better skateboard products.

Peter opened his new shop in Shenzhen, China, one of the most expensive cities in the world, where technology, industrial chains, and engineering talent are concentrated.

In 2016, Peter decided to go all in and leave his job as an architectural designer with a salary of more than 200W to launch the EOVAN brand on his own.

Every letter in the name Eovan has a distinct meaning: E-electric (electric) V-valor, (courageous) O-optimum, (optimal) A-attractive (attractive) (attractive) N-noble, (noble) (noble). Peter used his many years of design experience to plan the look and shape of the Eovan skateboard carefully.

He enlisted the help of professors from prestigious universities to develop ESC, which makes the skateboard more stable at high speeds and less likely to slip while riding.

Peter also asked chemistry professors to develop a high-stability rubber formula to improve the ride quality. By 2017, the industry’s first skateboard with airless rubber wheels was born, and it has since been adored by skateboarders worldwide!
